Weekend Roundup: September 4th - 6th

Friday, September 4th 

Seeking spiritual guidance? From 3 to 6 pm, The Way Home Shop is hosting oracle readings. You can call to schedule an appointment or walk in.  

Saturday, September 5th 

It’s the first Saturday of the month, which means High on Yoga is happening at Lighthouse Community Yoga. For just $20, sign up for some 420-friendly yoga—the ultimate relaxing experience. 

Another first Saturday event: The People’s Yoga NE has monthly sound healing from 7 to 8:30 pm. Allow yourself to be guided into relaxation and restoration! Pre-registration is recommended. 

Immersive Therapies is hosting a Breathwork & Sensual Embodiment + Mini-dose Women’s Circle. For $55, from 6 to 9 pm, this session will reconnect you to your body, sensuality, and inner power with a small dose of sacred mushrooms to support reflection. 

Sunday, September 6th 

From 4 to 10 pm, The Healing Circle is hosting Love is the Medicine: A Backyard Gathering. Join fellow community members for live music and a healing ceremony. The mini-festival is family-friendly, and attendance is $35. 

For the first Sunday of the month, find your sanctuary at Radiance Wellbeing for their Sacred Qigong – Meditation in Motion. This experience costs $25 and is held from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. 

Weekly events

The following events are happening each week, so if you can’t make it this weekend, you’ll have another chance to attend! 

Each Sunday, Dear Yoga has Donation-Based Community Yoga. The Vinyasa-inspired class begins at 1 pm and is free to attend. Suggested donation amounts range from $5 to $20. 

The Bhakti Yoga Movement Center hosts BIPOC-only Yoga each Sunday from 7 to 8 pm for members of Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color communities. The class is $23 and is a slower pace, great for beginners. 

Looking to reset your nervous system? Try Bodha Yoga’s Aloka - Sound Lab Sundays from 4 to 5:30 pm. This sound bath ritual is $25 and focuses on deep relaxation and repair. 

If you’re trying to get the most out of the final days of summer, try woo-woo’s outdoor yoga at Sosta House. Hosted on Sundays from 10 am to 12 pm, instructor Joey will guide participants through yoga, followed by refreshments. Attendance is $45.
