Full Moon Ritual

Release What No Longer Belongs

A quiet space to acknowledge what feels complete, release what you no longer wish to carry, and create room for the energy you are ready to welcome.

Set aside about five to ten minutes. Find a comfortable place where you can be present without needing to rush.

You might sit near an open window, step outside, dim the lights, or simply place both feet on the ground.

Everything you write remains inside your browser. Nothing is saved or submitted.

The Current Full Moon

Notice What Has Reached Completion

Full moons can offer a symbolic moment of illumination and completion—a time to notice what has been building, what has run its course, and what you may no longer need to carry.

This full moon invites you to step back and see your life from a wider perspective. You may become more aware of the expectations, identities, habits, relationships, emotional patterns, or old stories that no longer align with the person you are becoming.

Working with the element of air

The current full moon is moving through an air sign, so this ritual will use the element of air to assist in your release. As you name what you are ready to let go of, imagine the wind gently lifting it from you and carrying it away.

What feels complete?

What no longer belongs in the next chapter of your life?

What do you want to let go of?

What are you ready to release?

You do not need to answer yet. Simply notice what begins to come forward.

Connect with the element of air

Breathe and Create Space

Air is already moving through you with every breath. Follow the circle through four slow breaths. Allow each exhale to soften what you are preparing to release.

Press Start

Four guided breaths

Let the wind carry it away

Release It Into the Air

Take a moment to ask yourself what you are ready to stop carrying. Allow the answer to be honest, even if it feels small, unfinished, or difficult to explain.

Release one thing at a time. Write one thought, fear, habit, expectation, feeling, or pattern, then press Release to let the wind carry it away.

Let the air bring something new

What Are You Ready to Call In?

The full moon can be a time of release, but release also creates open space. You can meet that space with mindfulness and intention by choosing the energy you would like to welcome.

Imagine the wind carrying away what you no longer need. As the air moves back toward you, what would you like it to bring? What quality, feeling, belief, experience, or way of being would you like to grow in the space you have created?

Peace Trust Courage Clarity Freedom Connection Joy Self-compassion

There is no right or wrong answer. Write a few words, a complete intention, or whatever naturally comes forward.

Speak silently or aloud

A Prayer for Release and Renewal

Thank you to the Moon, the Universe, my Higher Power, Higher Self, Wise Mind, Creator—or whatever name feels true to me—for listening and hearing what lives within my heart.

Thank you to the element of air for lifting what no longer serves me and carrying it beyond the space I am entering.

May every breath remind me that I am allowed to soften, change, release, and begin again.

May the wind clear what has become heavy, stagnant, or complete. May it bring fresh perspective, clarity, inspiration, freedom, and the energy I am ready to receive.

May I trust what is leaving. May I remain open to what is arriving. May I move forward with intention.

And so it is.

Your ritual is complete

You Have Created Space

Release does not require you to erase the past. It allows you to honor what has been, loosen your hold, and make room for the next expression of your life.
