5 Wellness Events For Introverts

Introverts are people who recharge through solitude and spending time alone, rather than being around others. This doesn’t mean they don’t like people altogether; however, if the goal is filling your cup, then certain events may appeal to introverts more than others. We’ve put together a list of five types of wellness events introverts actually want to attend.

1. Meditation

A calming, inwardly-focused practice, meditation is the perfect way to relax your mind and body. Quiet and peaceful, meditation replicates the solo recuperation time that introverts seek.

2. Nature Walks

Alone time doesn’t have to happen indoors. A nature walk gets you a breath of fresh air and connects you with the world in a way where you don’t have to socialize. To get even more secluded, you could go on a hike.

3. Journaling

A wordless activity, journaling can be done in a room with others, but your thoughts will stay your own. Writing out your thoughts and feelings, or just putting words onto paper, can relieve stress and anxiety.

4. Sound Baths

Sound baths are restorative, low-stimulation experiences that can improve our moods. Despite what the name suggests, you will not be submerged in water, but rather in a peaceful symphony. These meditative experiences are believed to facilitate relaxation and mental clarity. Perfect for a solo recharge.

5. Slow Movement Classes

Slow movement classes like yoga and tai chi bring the physical benefits of exercise without the added pressure of socialization.

Being an introvert doesn’t mean you have to opt out of wellness events; you just have to find the opportunities that recharge you. To explore our events, visit events.infusepdx.com
